Biodegradable cleaner requiring no neutralisation
  • Guard Remover® Eco Efflorescence & cement is a cleaning product that quikly removes efflorescences, cement, concrete and tartar deposits. 
  • Guard Remover® Eco Efflorescence & cement is a new generation product that is significantly less hazardous than other products available in the market. Indeed, Guard Remover® Eco Efflorescence & cement is not classified as either corrosive or irritant.

Apply with a low pressure hand spray unit, a roller or a brush.
Tools and equipment should be cleaned with water immediately after use.
  • Shake the product well before use and apply neat.
  • Always test on a small hidden portion of the substrate before applying.
  • To increase the efficiency, first wet the surface with water.
  • Apply the product liberally to the surface.
  • Allow it to act 5 minutes maximum.
  • Do not allow the product to dry prior to rinsing.
  • Rinse the entire substrate with a high pressure washer once the material deposits have softened. Otherwise, brush off using a thick bristle broom, and then rinse with water from a hosepipe whilst brushing at the same time.
  • Physical state at 20°C: Liquid.
  • Colour: Clear/pale yellow.
  • Odour: Lemon.
  • pH: < 2.
  • Relative density: 1.05 ± 0.05.
  • Solubility in water [vol/vol]: Total.
  • Flashpoint [°C]: Not applicable.
The following values are for guidance only: 3 to 6 m2/litre.
1, 5 and 20 litres.
  • Store in a dry place at a temperature of between 5°C and 30°C.
  • Shelf-life: 48 months from date of manufacture, in original unopened can.
Ecological and respects the environment:
  • Water-based product.
  • Safe and non-toxic.
  • VOCs < 1 g/l*.
  • Surfactants used in this formula are biodegradable to 70%* in 28 days.
  • Do not mix with another product notably bleach (risks of emanation of toxic chloric gas).
  • When used indoors, apply in well-ventilated area.
  • Protect glass and metallic surfaces (aluminium, zinc, tin, copper, chromium, light alloys...).
  • On concrete or artificial stone, allow the produt to act less than 3 minutes. Always carry out a test. 
  • For best results it is essential that Guard Remover® Eco Efflorescence & cement is used when the temperature of the substrates is between 5°C and 30°C.
  • Do not apply during rain or in very hot weather. Air temperature between 5°C and 30°C.
  • Breathing protection: No breathing protection equipment is required under normal use conditions with suitable ventilation.
  • Hand protection: Wear chemical resistant gloves.
  • Skin protection: Wear waterproof protective clothing.
  • Eye protection: If there is a significant risk of splashes, wear protective goggles.
  • In case of ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Contact a doctor or specialist.

Prevention
To prevent future soiling, it is recommended to protect the surface with a protection treatment from the ImperGuard® or ProtectGuard® range.
